Indoor Air

The Indoor Environment program was developed to inform and educate Idahoans about human health risks associated with exposure to indoor contaminants in homes and schools.

The program also develops ways to prevent or reduce exposure to these pollutants. The program addresses the indoor environment via two main projects:

  • The Indoor Air project includes information on indoor air contaminants such as radon, mold, lead, and carbon monoxide; and
  • The Tools for Schools project promotes good indoor air quality in schools.

Indoor Environment
Health and Welfare developed the rules for SB 1283. They were adopted.
Information on indoor air contaminants such as radon, mold, lead, and carbon monoxide, as well as the Tools for Schools program, which promotes good indoor air quality in schools.
