You Are Invited to a CIT Co-Location Seminar
Dates: Tuesday, October 3, 2006 at 9:00 AM
Wednesday, October 4, 2006 at 1:00 PM
Location: Natcher Building, Room E1/E2
CIT's Co-Location service provides housing for customer-owned servers either on-campus in the NIH Data Center's Customer Server Areas or off-campus in the NIH Consolidated Co-Location Site (NCCS) in northern Virginia.
Come to hear about recent upgrades to these facilities and the enhanced connectivity to the Virginia site. We invite you to attend this interactive seminar to learn more about this service.
Hear from other IC's who are co-located in the NCCS
Discussion items will include:
|
Why would you need co-location? |
|
What does the service entail? |
|
What are the facilities like? |
|
Do you have any critical applications? |
|
Are you covered in case of a disaster? |
|
Is your organization's infrastructure in compliance with FPC 65 & 67, FISMA and HIPPA? |
If you need to maintain control over your equipment but you've outgrown your space, your server closet is overheating, you're tired of dealing with power outages, or you are looking for a disaster recovery site; co-location may be the answer.
Who should attend: Anyone with responsibility for managing data infrastructures.
