OIA PRESS RELEASENew Travel Requirements for International TravelThe Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative Fact Sheet recently issued by the State Department outlines new regulations for travel to and from the United States and essentially requires that all travelers to and from the United States carry a valid passport. In addition to the clarification made therein that travel between the United States and U.S. territories will not be affected, the Department of the Interior's Office of Insular Affairs strongly recommends that all travelers, U.S. citizen nationals and non-citizen nationals, traveling to or from any of the U.S. territories, travel with a valid passport regardless of whether destination is considered domestic.
