The Chief, Finance Division, is responsible
to the Associate Director for Administration and Budget for administering the MMS financial
management program Bureauwide. The organization develops and implements
policies, procedures, guidelines, and standards related to financial management
and coordinates with the DOI on the MMS's financial management activities.
The Division is responsible for the MMS's administrative accounting system, audits and schedules the MMS's bills for payment, collects debts owed to the MMS, develops financial data, prepares financial reports, and provides all offices with advice and assistance on financial matters. | ||||||
