Over-Snow Vehicles (OSV)

OSV Information and Routes

Snowmobile routes are open when there is sufficient snow for resource protection (approximately 6 inches in most places). This usually occurs in late December and can last until late April or early May. Staging areas are open year round as are many camping opportunities; some campgrounds are closed during the winter months.

Maps are available by mail from the District Offices for the off-highway and over-snow vehicle routes.
