Silver Lake Ranger District: Coyote Creek Restoration Project
The proposed action includes mechanized harvest and non-commercial thinning on 70 acres to assist in the restoration of historic landscape vegetative structure, patterns, and disturbance regimes. The Coyote Creek Restoration Project is designed to improve and protect late and old structural ponderosa pine forest conditions in an area allocated as Management Area 2, Bald Eagle Management Area, in the Fremont Land and Resource Management Plan.
