Workshop Reports

WORKSHOPS RELEVANT TO NSF SUPPORT OF POLAR RESEARCH

Workshops influence program goals, investigators' proposals, and funding decisions. In fiscal 2001, the National Science Foundation funded 472 workshops. The list below contains only those workshops held over the last several years that—

  1. relate to polar research
  2. are relevant to NSF funding decisions, and
  3. were funded by NSF’s Office of Polar Programs

Workshops supported by other parts of NSF—or performed without NSF support—can be relevant to Office of Polar Programs decisions. No attempt is made to list those here.

Criteria for support of conferences, symposia, and workshops are in the Grant Proposal Guide (NSF 08-1), chapter II, section D.7.
