 Stock Market Game Results

Stock Market Game

National DECA just published the Stock Market Game results.  A huge congratulations to Nevada participants.  Our state alone took home 36% of the top 25 finishes in the entire Western Region.  That means that one out of every three teams in the top 25 in the Western Region were from Nevada.  What’s also exciting is that each of the teams listed below has qualified to attend the International Career Development Conference in Anaheim, California to participate in the Stock Market Game. This is an amazing accomplishment for each of these students. Here is a list of the teams and their placement in the Western Region:

7th Palo Verde High School
Team Members: Christopher Grozdon, Blake Krajniak, Mitchell Geiger
8th Palo Verde High School

Nevada DECA!

Well the year has certainly gone by fast with SCDC less than two weeks away! Rest assured, your Nevada DECA officers have your back with plenty of information to get you right into the game! Find out what you can do at Santa Fe Station, site of the 2009 SCDC, as well as what the workshops and that mysterious social event are all about! But first start off with an interview from Bob Purfurst, an admissions officer at Johnson & Wales University who is very willing to help out any Nevada DECA member on their road to success after high school! And don’t forget to study hard so we can send everyone to the International Career Development conference in Anaheim this year!

In leadership,

Your 2008-09 State Officer Team
