Pathology collected on studies from the predecessor Bioassay Program at NCI and the current National Toxicology Program are stored in an electronic database. Up until 1982 the microscopic evaluations were collected and stored using the Carcinogenesis Bioassay Data System (CBDS). In 1982, NTP started using an upgraded system, Toxicology Data Management System (TDMS), to collect all data from these studies. Because of the differences in the two data collection systems, the search for pathology data was set up separately. These searches will not return data based on statistics or dose response.
