Comparative Medicine Research ResourcesThe Division of Comparative Medicine (DCM) of the National Center for Research Resources (NCRR) supports research resources that create, develop, and supply a variety of high-quality animal models, biological materials, and similar resources. The purpose of this Comparative Medicine Resources directory is to guide investigators, who have projects supported by the National Institutes of Health and other peer-reviewed funding sources, to these critical comparative medicine resources. Within each category below is a list of resources, which are located primarily at academic and research institutions nationwide. Individual entries for each resource describe its emphasis and provide contact information. In addition, the training category will help researchers locate institutions that offer DCM-supported training in laboratory animal sciences as well as other career development opportunities.
