Research Room Hours in College Park, Maryland
Day: Monday and Tuesday
Time: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Day: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
Time: 9:00 am - 9:00 pm
Day: Saturday
Time: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
When Materials Can be Requested
The days and times that materials can be requested for research and reproduction depend on the type of materials being researched.
- Please Note: No materials are pulled from the stacks on Saturday.
White House Tapes
- Day: Monday - Saturday
- Time: The White House Tapes are available for self-service during regular Research Room hours.
- Location: Motion Picture, Sound, and Video Research Room, 4th Floor, Room 4000
- What to Bring You must provide your own blank cassettes or CDs to make reproductions.
Audiovisual Materials
- Day: Monday - Friday
- Time: 9:00 am - noon and 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm
- Location: Motion Picture, Sound, and Video Research, 4th Floor, Room 4000 and
Still Pictures Research Room, 5th Floor
- What to Bring You may need to bring reproduction supplies and equipment to copy some materials.
Textual Materials
- Day: Monday and Tuesday
- Time: 10:00 am, 11:00 am, 1:30 pm, and 2:30 pm.
- Day: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
- Time: 10:00 am, 11:00 am, 1:30 pm, 2:30 pm, and 3:30 pm
- Note: Researchers must be on-site to request a pull. Boxes will not be pulled in advance of your visit.
- Location: Textual, 2nd Floor, Room 2000
- What to Bring: Self-service copier machines are provided.
