AIR QUALITY

Forest Air Quality information providesdaily air quality briefing during fire activity. This site also hosts links to web cams for the Okanogan and Wenatchee Areas.

North Central Washington Interagency Fire Information

The Central Washington Interagency Communication Center (CWICC) began operations in the Spring of 1992. The Southeast Region of Department of Natural Resources and the Okanogan & Wenatchee National Forests are provided with all risk dispatching from our office. CWICC’s area covers 22,520,959 acres, with protection in 7.1 million acres. This covers 17 counties which is about 48% of the State of Washington. Southeast Region’s Districts include: Alpine, Klickitat and Snake River. Okanogan & Wenatchee National Forests Ranger Districts include: Tonasket, Methow Valley , Chelan, Cle Elum, Entiat, Wenatchee River and Naches.

WEATHER

Current weather conditions from the National Weather Service are updated continually. Weather information is derived from National Weather Service data. Please see our weather disclaimer. FIRE INFORMATION The National Interagency Fire Center (NIFC) posts a new Situation Report every day. This is a national report that summarizes information on current large fires, gives an outlook for the day, provides the total number of fires and acreage burned, as well as the current number of committed resources.

WATER

US Geological Survey (USGS) posts current information on droughts , stream flow maps ,and current flows , as well as a variety of other information. The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) provides national water and climate information. Included is information on water supply , snow pack, precipitation , and reservoir status, as well as stream flow forecasts and data.
