Influenza Vaccination (Flu Shots)

In keeping with the Department of Veterans Affairs emphasis on preventive medicine, our health system is continuing its program of giving influenza vaccine to all appropriate and eligible patients.

Influenza Vaccination Season
Nov. 1, 2008 through Jan. 31, 2009
(except legal holidays, Nov. 11th, Nov. 27th, & Dec. 25th)
Please have proper VA identification available

Influenza is a serious respiratory disease caused by a virus. It’s not the same as the common cold or stomach flu. The best way to avoid getting the flu is to get vaccinated against Influenza.

The valuable Influenza Vaccine is available to:   Veterans presently enrolled within the North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Health System

If you have a scheduled appointment at the VA during Vaccination Season, you will get your Influenza shot at that appointment. 

If you DO NOT have a scheduled appointment at the VA during Vaccination Season, you can get your Influenza shot at any of the following facilities:
