Community-Based Outpatient Clinic
The St. Croix Community Based Outpatient Clinic is a Satellite of the San Juan VA Medical Center, and was established in 1994 to improve access to Primary Care services for veterans in St. Croix, U.S.V.I. We currently provide a variety of services:
- Primary Care
- Preventive Health Care
- Care of Chronic Conditions
- Pharmacy
- EKG
- Phlebotomy/Laboratory Testing
- Prescriptions: Routine prescriptions processed through the mail or My HealtheVet.
The Clinic also provides Podiatry and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation services and a Foot Clinic with visiting staff from the San Juan VA Medical Center. Services that are not available in the Clinic can be obtained via referral to local health care specialists or to the VA Medical Center in San Juan.
The VA Veterans Benefits Administration provides counseling and services in the co-located Vet Center.
Please note that Community Based Clinics do not have emergency rooms, and are not the facilities of choice in case of life threatening emergencies. In such cases patients are referred to the Juan F. Luis Medical Center emergency room.
Driving Directions
Traveling from the East End and Christiansted: Take Centerline Road (Hwy 70) about 2 miles west of the Sunny Isle Shopping Center. The VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic is in the Village Mall on the left.
Traveling from the West End and Frederiksted: Take Centerline Road (Hwy 70) East. The Clinic is about 1 mile East of MacDonalds in the Village Mall on the right.
