San Juan Mountains Association Volunteer Clearinghouse
Thank you
for your interest in volunteering in southwest Colorado. The San Juan
Mountains Association Volunteer Clearinghouse is a one-stop connection
point for volunteers and interns, public land agencies, and other organizations.
The SJMA Clearinghouse:

Maintains a listing of volunteer
and internship opportunities available in southwest Colorado.

Includes the USDA Forest
Service, Bureau of Land Management, Colorado State Parks, and others.
Opportunities
are as varied as the volunteers themselves and include:

Wildlife and Forest Ecology

Education and Interpretation
The San Juan Mountains Association (SJMA) promotes
and enhances volunteerism and active stewardship of the public land in
southwest Colorado. The SJMA is a nonprofit 501(C)(3) that works with
the San Juan National Forest, the Bureau of Land Management San Juan Field
Office, and other agencies that encompass the San Juan Mountains and Basin,
to provide volunteer services. Memberships
