Community Resource Development is dedicated to raising and administering funds for our Veterans. Our goal is to serve the whole person by making a positive impact on the lives and the health of our veterans.


Gifts and donations constitute a supplemental source of funding for the Portland VA Medical Center. All donations are put into the General Post Fund (GPF). The General Post Fund is a trust fund authorized by Title 26, Section 1321 of the United States Code. A gift to a GPF account administered by the Department of Veterans Affairs is a charitable contribution as defined by the Internal Revenue Code, Section 170(c), and is tax deductible to the same extent as a gift made a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. 100% of your donation will be used for the benefit of our Veterans.
