Graduate Student Internship Program For Students Applications due February 13 – Register online today! "Analyzing quantitative and qualitative data in a real world setting has been very rewarding. It has allowed me to sharpen my data analysis skills while learning how to put data results into action. I believe that my project will aid in raising awareness about the challenges that still have to be faced in the fight to reduce infant mortality and morbidity rates.” Overview Provide technical assistance to states and localities while receiving training in a real-world MCH environment. Take the opportunity to address specific, defined data or analytic issues as part of the efforts of states, counties and cities to develop or enhance their MCH and Children with Special Health Care Needs information systems. Focus in any of three critical areas of MCH epidemiology: data analysis and monitoring, needs assessment, and program evaluation. Enhance the capacity of MCH agencies in collecting, analyzing, and using data for planning and policy making. “This internship has only strengthened my desire
to work in program evaluation.
