The Northwest New Mexico Visitor Center was completed through a cooperative effort between federal, state and local agencies, a non-profit entity and tribal governments. The Visitor Center provides information and educational opportunities for visitors to learn about the resources and values of the public lands preserved in northwest New Mexico. The facility offers a trip planning area, bookstore, audio-visual programs, and area exhibits to encourage visitors to explore this region.
The U.S. Forest Service (USFS), Bureau of Land Management (BLM), and the National Park Service (NPS) operate the Center under an inter/intra-agency agreement. |
