About Us
The core of the collection are the reports generated by the extensive research and testing performed by and for FAA Technical Center and its' predecessor organizations since the 1960's. The library receives many other FAA documents, including Advisory Circulars, handbooks and other technical notices. The collection of books covers the technical subjects necessary to the research and testing programs conducted at the Center. Subjects range from engineering to mathematics, the social and physical sciences, and software design to aviation specific handbooks and design texts.
Borrowing Policies
Borrowing privileges for the Technical Center Library are limited to current active FAA Technical Center employees and contractors with current FAA contracts (COTR authorization required). The Library does not currently charge for overdue or lost materials, however the Library can limit or revoke the privileges of any customer abusing borrowing privilege
Interlibrary Loan Services
Interlibrry loan services are limited to current FAA employess and contractors (COTR approvale required) who have access to FAA Intranet. Requests for interlibrary loans, other information or subject matter research can now be made thru our new intranet web site at ACTiLLiad.
