Proposed Schedule:

~~~
04/16/2004:
"The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office is processing paper Madrid filings within a week of receipt and electronic applications within hours. Information is generally viewable on the USPTO website within 24 hours of the completion of Trademark processing. In addition to the work done on Madrid filings at the USPTO, there is also processing at the International Bureau of WIPO. Thus, in certain circumstances pendency is influenced by any backlogs that might develop at WIPO."
Control #177
The <attorney-name> element is not present for all “C” records beginning the 1st of December 2004.
03/07/2005 – In an attempt to create a supplemental file correcting previous transactions it is difficult to identify previous transaction-dates from a more current transaction-date for the same application.
We are suggesting that a <creation-datetime> field be included (with a format of yyyymmddhhmm, where hhmm will contain the 2400 time in hour and minutes) for the “C” file being created. Thus when a supplemental file or a retrospective file is created the content of the <creation-datetime> field would identify that the content of the file is current up to the minute of extraction.
Feedback to this suggestion is requested.
Control #202
The OG transactions being disseminated in the "C" file.
a. Contains transactions with a "10" (Principal Register) <action-key> but do not provide a <registration-date>.
03/18/2005: Currently being researched.
b. The <status-code> for these registered transactions have not been updated and contain a "686" (Published for Opposition).
03/18/2005: The source data is not updated with the proper <status-code> until the Tuesday issue date. A solution would be to extract OG records each Tuesday night and disseminated Wednesday morning.
Feedback to this suggestion is requested.
Control #206
In the apc050308 file and the apc050309 file there were 8,170 transactions with a <status-code> of "618" (Abandoned File - Backfile). Is this correct?
03/18/2005: Currently being researched.
Control #207
The 25,750 of the Serial Numbers on apc-supp02.xml contain Serial Numbers with Series Code 77? An example being 77-377687 that is also present on TARR.
03/18/2005: Currently being researched.
