PROGRAM ADMINISTRATION

The LRP is administered at the IHS, Office of Human Resources, Health Professions Recruitment and Training. The IHS is currently an Operating Division (OPDIV) under the Program Support Center (PSC) also known as the Public Health Service.

DISCRIMINATION PROHIBITED

Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, provides that no person in the United States (U.S.) shall, because of race, color, or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.

Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended, or provides that no otherwise qualified handicapped individual in the U.S. shall, soley by reason of his/her handicap, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subject to discrimination under any program or activity Federal financial assistance.
