• 2006 Washington State Vital Statistic and Induced Terminations of Pregnancy Report (PDF, 2.5 MB) is now available.  This is the first year where we have combined the Vital Statistics report with the Pregnancy and Induced Abortion Statistics report. - 1/13/2009
• 2007 Birth Data and 2007 Baby Name Data Available - 1/5/2009
• 2007 Divorce Data Available  - 12/1/2008
• 2007 Marriage Data Available  - 11/20/2008
• Historical Vital Statistics reports up through 1999 are now available on our website - 9/26/2008.
• The report Cesarean Sections in Washington State: Trends and Geographic Variations is now available.  The study focuses on low-risk births.  Low-risk is defined as a first-time mother having a single child that is positioned head down in the womb. - 8/21/2008
• We have updated the Birth Data Quality Query System (BDQQ) to include 2006 and 2007 data.  - 6/25/2008
• BRFSS-IQ: What percent of people smoke in my county? How many people are overweight? What percent of people binge drink? These questions, and many others related to behaviors can be answered on the Department of Health’s new Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System’s (BRFSS-IQ) web site. -  5/3/2008
