Congresswoman Suzanne Kosmas Sworn into Office, Announces Sponsorship of Bill to Stop Congressional Pay Raise
(Washington, DC) -- Today, immediately after being sworn into office, Congresswoman Suzanne Kosmas (FL-24) announced her first legislative action for the 111th Congress -- signing on as an original cosponsor of the Stop the Congressional Pay Raise Act of 2009. On the Financial Services Committee, Kosmas will be at the forefront of drafting key legislation to increase oversight of Wall Street, stem the foreclosure crisis, and invest in the creation of new jobs.

"As a small business owner, I am honored by the opportunity to serve on the Financial Services Committee," said Kosmas. "I am ready to work hard every day to get our economy back on track and to keep and create good, high-paying jobs in the 24th District."

Kosmas also hopes to be named to the Committee on Science and Technology, where she will fight for the continued funding of NASA operations.…
