Research Highlights, A Supplement to the Division Annual Self-Assessment, is produced annually in soft cover, CD, and on the web. In the past, the publication was titled Special Feature, Supplement to the Theoretical Division’s Self-Assessment. See the archive for previous publications.

An institutional document, it includes an organizational summary, details about the division thrust areas, division contributions to UC Appendix F measures, and appendices of data about the division. Composed of contributions from more than 90 distinguished Theoretical Division staff and alumni, this two-volume book— Theory in Action, Highlights in the Theoretical Division at Los Alamos 1943–2003—is an archival window into six decades of creativity, major discipline and mission challenges, and successes.
