AGES SERVED
Serving children ages eighteen months to five years old.

HOURS OF OPERATION
We are open 52 weeks a year, Monday through Friday, from 7:15 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. for full–time and part–time care.

We are fully licensed by the New York City Department of Health and are currently in the process of receiving accreditation by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.

FACILITIES
Our center has two classrooms, a fully equipped kitchen area, an adjacent outdoor play area and garden where the children plant and tend vegetables and flowers. We also have access to meeting rooms at the Veterans Hospital that we can use for special occasions.

SPECIAL ACTIVITIES
The children sing songs, listen to music and can take weekly dance lessons. BCCI provides language lessons such as Spanish. We have computers in each classroom with educational software applications. Parents can observe daily activities on our video shows. We provide a gardening program in which children grow vegetables and eat them at snack time. We celebrate various ethnic holidays and taste ethnic foods. Children partake in daily indoor or outdoor physical activities and we have group outings to nearby parks. Daily fun time includes entertainment and creative hands-on activities and projects. BCCI provides daily breakfast and snacks and we always have daily nap time.

UNIVERSAL PRE-K PROGRAM
Our Universal Pre-Kindergarten Program is sponsored by the New York City Board of Education which means 2 ½ free hours every day for each child. Our school is open to the public and we hire New York State Certified Early Childhood Teachers.
