Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs a variety of secretarial and administrative functions to implement the office’s administrative programs, policies and procedures and provide administrative support in human resources, finance and procurement. The Secretary’s responsibilities may also include providing current background information on particular subjects by researching files and other documents; maintaining the managers' appointment calendars'; handling incoming correspondence, information, and documents which flow through the office; ensuring timely handling of sensitive material; reading and reviewing all outgoing correspondence and reports; making travel arrangements; developing and maintaining an effective filing system; coordinating and scheduling meetings and conferences; receiving, screening and directing incoming phone calls, visitors, and mail; maintaining time and attendance reports; and responding to general inquiries.
