Our administrative hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.  Emergencies are seen 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Review our  visiting hours and polices page  for visiting hours.

Veterans Service Officers

The  San Francisco County Veterans Service Office  maintains an office at the Medical Center Monday-Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  They are located in Building 2, First Floor, Room 169. 

AMVETS  maintains an office at the Medical Center Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  They are located in Building 2, Ground Floor, Room 71. 

The Veterans Service Offices help veterans and their dependents with the filing of complex claims for various benefits they are eligible to receive.

Inquiry Routing and Information System

VA has established an inquiry routing and information system which provides answers to frequently-asked questions. You may also use this system to submit a comment, question, or concern.
