Let us, once again, return to a time when the division between individual and corporation was defined clearly in the court system.

Corporations do not deserve the protections of the Fifth Amendment. Corporations are not human beings and they do not suffer the same personal repercussions that American citizens do. The growing power of corporations is daunting. The average individual does not have the means to fight against a corporation that has harmed them. If we continue to protect corporations in the law the way that we would a human life, we will lose our ability to prosecute the manipulations and incursions of big business into our daily lives.

Corporations never should never have recieved the same rights as individuals. How about returning to revocable corporate charters?

The problem is that the cooporations have the RIGHTS of individuals, but not their responsibilities.   If cooporations had to suffer consequences for their actions the way individuals did, it might actually be an improvement.   For instance, a cooporation that led to loss of human life, would be punished by the court system as having "commited manslaughter."   A five-year "jail sentence," for a cooporation would mean they would be prevented from doing business for five years.
