Energy Saving and interstructure rebuilding

Federal incentives/bonus for traffic lights regulation would reduce energy consumption and give each urban citizen some extra time to take care of family, himself and his business.   Taxpayers would not complain on such expenditure if they saved on travel time and gasoline.

Traffic lights on main urban arterial streets must be coordinated to allow the smooth passage of vehicles (without stopping) moving at the legally posted speed.

Bonus would be based on the number of successive lights in a run.  There should be grants to develop or search for methodology to set this up.  And grants for computer hardware and cabling to accomplish this methodology.   Of course, there would have to be surveyors/inspectors for periodic assessment of the operation.
