Single-Payer Universal Health Care Now!

I believe that the American people cannot wait for single-payer universal health care. It is one of the major components for a strong economy, since a healthy people are a productive people. Wasting 10's of billions of dollars supporting private health insurance companies huge profits is also wasting our precious dollars. President Obama, please support single-payer universal health care before our private health insurance companies bankrupt the American people and the economy. Thank you.

I totally agree.  That would take 30% off the top. If we had a universal health care like most developed countries we could also incorporate one Electronic Heatlh record system. I am working within our nursing school to teach nursing students how to utilize Electronic Health records but we will be getting one developed by another school.  University hospitals of Cleveland will have another system and Cleveland Clinic Hospitals will have another. In England where there is universal heatlh care they have one system the is much more user friendly and accessible to all.

If Universal Health Care is Federal  then I agree. We , the tax payers have been paying the cost of Federal Health Ins for the President, Senators, etc for years. Now we should have the same plan, the same advantages at the same low cost. Please put this into effect asap. BUT be wary. Watch those behind the Federal Plan raise the cost because the  people are going to be insured--Oh, please watch them like a hawk. Thank you.

IS CHANGE.GOV A DECEPTION?

Why has Obama been ignoring the demand of his supporters for a single payer health care system?  Does he have political debts to the insurance companies, HMOs, and pharmaceutical corporations? Government officials don’t worry about “affordable” health care, they get it for free.  We should take health insurance off the backs of employers and have a generalized Medicare system for all citizens and resident aliens.  Are we who participate in this exercise being had?
