HAZUS-MH MR2 FAQs: Basic HAZUS Usage

What's the use of duplicating and/or exporting regions in HAZUS?

Duplicating a region is useful when performing different analyses on the same region since the results will be continuously overwritten for the various simulations and there is no other way to keep the results but to duplicate as many regions as needed.

Exporting a region allows for compressing regions to share with other users, to save and better manage the disk space, or to maintain a backup-up copy.

For additional information, the HAZUS User's Manual, as well as other HAZUS manuals and guidance materials are available for download from the HAZUS Resources.
