Objectives: This is a comprehensive multi-faceted program designed to develop the motivation, encourage the personal empowerment, and instill the comprehensive skills necessary for graduates to desire, get and keep a job.
Procedures: The Prerelease component of the program includes Individual Intake and Needs Assessment, Compute-A-Match Skills Assessment, Interactive Life Management/Job Readiness Workshops, and On Site Support Group. The Aftercare Component includes Individualized Life Action Planning, Job Counseling/Placement, Mentoring, Reintegration Support Group Meetings, and Special Events and Community service Projects.
Outcomes/Results/Products: The Program will collect data on program completion, job placement, re-arrest, re-conviction, re-incarceration, parole/probation status, vocational/educational activities, involvement in community activities, program relevance to participant needs, etc.
