The Research Library has over 700 video and audio cassettes, such
as:
- Laboratory Colloquia
- other scientific lectures presented at the Lab
- Laboratory safety and security presentations/training
- foreign language instruction
- courses from CareerTrack, AMA, etc. on topics such as time manangement,
communications skills, and strategic planning.
Some videorecordings are available online as RealMedia files (streaming
video). These are digital files, archived by LANL's Media
project, which can be viewed with RealPlayer software. Since 1998
Director's Colloquia and other key Lab presentations are captured live as RealMedia.
The LANL Office of Equal Opportunity and Diversity also maintains a lending collection of videos, which can be requested through their online list.
