Davenport, IA -- State and Federal officials have established a joint federal/state Mobile Disaster Recovery Center. The Mobile Disaster Recovery Center will visit the following county on the date indicated:

Wednesday, May 30, 2001 (One Day Only)
Mount Pleasant City Hall
Council Chambers
220 West Monroe
Mount Pleasant, Iowa Operating hours will be from 7:30 a.m. until 6:30 p.m.

The Mobile Disaster Recovery Center is designed to provide more detailed program information to those who have already applied for assistance under President Bush's May 2 disaster declaration and who may have further questions. Representatives of state and federal agencies will be present, including loan officers from the U.S. Small Business Administration. The disaster programs available include temporary housing, individual and family grants, disaster unemployment assistance, and other aid programs. Please note that financial assistance is not directly provided from this center.
