National Preparedness Month Activities
Sponsored by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Ready Campaign, and with support from Coalition Members across the nation, National Preparedness Month is held each September to increase public awareness about emergency preparedness.
For 2008, the Ready Campaign and Citizen Corps are focusing on four important steps Americans can take to prepare:
