Program Background
The second phase of the Senior Leadership Development Program (SLDP2) is seeking up to 60 participants for those seeking advancement as Assistant Federal Security Directors (AFSD) at the K band level. This program and new target positions were approved by the TSA Executive Resources Council (ERC) as part of the agencies Succession planning program. The SLDP2, along with our other leadership programs, ensures that we accomplish our important mission and advance our goal of becoming a highly effective and agile organization, and an employer of choice.

The application period is open from February 8 through March 13, 2007.

The application can be found through a search under the program announcement name SLDP2 or under TSA specific announcements (control number 131257).
