NO TAXES FOR SENIORS OVER 65 MAKING LESS THAN $50,000
I like your idea of no taxes for senior over 65 making less than $50,000. Is that going to be in effect in 2009 for the 2008 tax season?

Better yet would be to exempt the first $50,000 of income for those over 65 and without any other means of retirement except social security.
