Tribal Management Grant Program

TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES

The following dates have been specified as training dates for the Tribal Management Grant (TMG) Program. Please note these sessions are filled on a first come first serve basis and have limited seats with priorty given to groups/persons eligible to apply for a TMG.

The 5-day training session will be facilitated by a trainer from The Grantsmanship Center. This training will provide participants with basic grant proposal writing skills, ability to identify potential funding sources, and allow time to begin writing a grant application. This session is limited to 25 registrants.

Web training (Webex) is a new item to be featured this year. The training will be a One-Day session addressing the TMG Program requirements. The Webex TMG training session will be an interactive on-line presentation and will be available for unlimited future access. System Requirements: Must have access to internet via Internet Explorer 6/7, Firefox 2, Mozilla 1.7 or higher, Netscape 8.1 or higher, JavaScript and cookies need to be enabled, Recommend ActiveX be enabled for Internet Explorer, Vista supports Internet Explorer 7, and Firefox 2 browsers only. More details to follow.

The 2-day training sessions will be conducted by the TMG staff. The instructor will review the TMG Announcement, present examples of successful TMG applications and allow time to discuss applicants' specific programmatic questions. The same program will be presented at all three sessions. A minimum of 10 registrants is required in order to conduct the training. These sessions are limited to 25 registrants.
