What this partnership has allowed us to do is to bring together community members, educators, patients, leaders in the HIV field in our community to work together to make oral health access possible to people who are HIV positive and have had problems accessing care, as well as allowing us to train the next generation of health care professionals, so that they’ll be comfortable providing care to this patient population. We are very grateful we have been able to be a part of this program. |
