Welcome to The Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES)
SAGES represents a worldwide community of surgeons that can bring minimal access surgery, endoscopy and emerging techniques to patients in every country. We represent over 5,000 surgeons and allied health professionals.
The entire SAGES Video Library is freely available for online viewing. Please visit our Education zone to view.
Career Development Award: Eligible applicants must be SAGES candidate members (including residents and Fellows), or SAGES members early in their faculty appointment (within five years of completed training). The focus of this award is to provide funding for a young surgeon or surgeon-in-training for the development of critical skills required for their academic career in gastrointestinal and endoscopic surgery. The intent of this award is to delay the start of a faculty role or ongoing residency training for supplemental training/traveling fellowship or intense research time. This grant will provide the awardee with a unique educational opportunity that would not otherwise be available.
