This Saturday is the day set aside for Latinos to renew their commitment to ending the spread of HIV and to ensuring quality of life for those living with HIV. For more information about this historic event, go to: http://www.cdcnpin.org/scripts/index.asp. Also, read a statement about NLAAD from Dr. Anthony S. First Phase II Trial of HIV/AIDS Vaccine Starts

“This trial marks an important step in the advancement toward an AIDS vaccine. The rapid development of this candidate vaccine—less than five years since the launch of the VRC (Vaccine Research Center)—underscores our commitment to hasten the day when we have an effective AIDS vaccine,” says NIAID Director Anthony S. Fauci, M.D.
