Department of Veterans Affairs Launches New Look for Its HIV/AIDS Program Web Site

The Veterans Affairs National HIV/AIDS Program has launched a new look and improved navigation for their Web site: http://www.hiv.va.gov/. New features allow users to navigate as a patient or member of the general public to obtain educational resources about many HIV/AIDS issues including diagnosis, treatment, and daily living with HIV/AIDS.

 

For health care providers inside and outside the Veterans Affairs system, the site provides information on a variety of topics, including epidemiology, prevention, diagnosis and clinical management of HIV/AIDS, and working with patients living with HIV/AIDS.

 

The redesigned site was developed in collaboration with the VA Public Health Strategic Health Care Group and the Center for HIV Information at the University of California, San Francisco.
