Acknowledgments

This presentation was developed and edited during the American Memory pilot project. by Gene DeAnna, Motion Picture, Broadcasting and Recorded Sound Division. It builds upon earlier work carried out during the Optical Disk Pilot Project (1982-1987) and the special editorial guidance of Paul Spehr, then assistant chief of the Motion Picture, Broadcasting and Recorded Sound Division. The American Memory version of the presentation includes cataloging developed with the assistance of Elaine Woods. Some descriptive materials were drafted by Joanne B. Freeman and Hugh Gallagher.

The transfer of film to video was begun by Halyna Bryn. Subsequent videotape mastering was by James B. Winther, Recording Lab, Motion Picture, Broadcasting and Recorded Sound Division.
