I think it is very important that our state and federal government enact stricter penalties on companies and individuals who swindle the American taxpayer with purchasing of futures on Wall Street and individuals who are scamming them of their hard earned money. Like the situation with Madoff $50 billion, Enron, Adelphia, and others too numerous to name here. If this graft and corruption is cut out, our economy would be much better off. Most of America is suffering because these things continue to destroy our hard working people and the employers they work for. More legislation should be in place to punish these greedy evil doers who hurt the many, and get rich doing it at our expense and the overall health of the economy. What ever happened to ethics, and integrity in business, government and in the household? Get back to basics and what this country was founded on and we would be in a much better situation overall.  Please consider this, to help the country to heal and get back on stable footing.
