Inventory of Volumes Held in Remote Storage
This is a listing of U.S. newspaper volumes held in storage for the Newspaper & Current Periodical Room based on an
inventory conducted Summer, 1998. Arranged by state, then city, it lists the bound volume control number, total volume
count, and summary holdings for each title (title may vary from what is listed). The inventory does not provide detailed
holdings; dates listed may have unspecified missing issues. Also, "misc" refers to miscellaneous issues that have been
collected separately for each country; these portfolios may include single issues that supplement the holdings of cities
listed. Detailed holdings of portfolios and bound volumes are available by contacting Reading Room staff. In most cases,
microfilm is not available for the volumes inventoried.
