Lipodystrophy Lipodystrophy, or fat redistribution,
is an unwanted side effect in many people taking anti-HIV drugs. The body
changes that take place when a person has lipodystrophy can be dramatic.
Common body fat changes are:

Sunken eyes,
cheeks, or temples ·
Protruding or
prominent veins in the legs · Loss of fat in the legs and arms or buttocks · Buffalo hump · Increased abdominal fat
