The expiration date of the HEAL student application form (HRSA-700) has been extended to November 30, 1994. As you know the Department of Education (ED) has been working to develop a single loan application to be used for all guaranteed loan programs. We understand that progress is being made and that current plans call for the application to be ready for the 1994-95 academic year. The new HEAL statute requires that we work with ED in the development of a single HEAL application and we have recently initiated this activity. We will keep you apprised of developments. In the meantime, continue to use-the existing HEAL application.
