Weinstein Cardiovascular Development Conference, May 7, 2009 - May 9, 2009
Description: The intent of the meeting is to advance the overall field of cardiovascular development and congenital heart disease through the sharing of information and the facilitation of collaborative investigations. An additional goal is to aid the career development of students, postdoctoral fellows, and junior faculty members by providing a forum where they can present their work and interact with established investigators. Because of this emphasis on career development, the conference has strived to keep registration fees low, because higher fees may be prohibitive for students and junior investigators with limited funding. ORDR co-sponsorship in previous years has enabled this goal by allowing the organizers to provide a reduced registration fee for students and fellows.
