Ovid: Searching PsycINFO, MEDLINE, and More

Description:

Ovid--the search system for PsycINFO, AGRICOLA, Health and Psychosocial Instruments, and MEDLINE--has released a new interface called OvidSP. It has a new look with several enhancements and features. Learn about these highlights:
  • Basic Search – Enter medical terms, everyday language or a question into the search box. The new search engine processes the results and ranks the citations by relevancy.
  • Annotate Results – Add personal notes next to citations. Whenever you come across the citations again, you’ll see your notes. “Read this.” “Already have a copy.” “Gave copy to Robert.”
  • Search Aid – Refine your initial searches with this tool. You can see the frequency of individual topics, authors and journals in your search.
  • Sorting Results – Sort the results based on 12 different fields such as authors, titles or even the country of publication.
