About COLMR
The Center for Organization, Leadership, and Management Research (COLMR) was established to conduct research on health care management issues. The Center contributes nationally to the study of health care management research in three primary ways by
- conducting research on innovative management practices,
- serving as a national resource for other HSR&D CoEs and investigators regarding the study of management practices,
- and also by serving as a primary training site for future HSR&D principal investigators.
COLMR evolved from Center for Organization, Leadership, and Management Research (COLMR) , which was established in 1992 as a resource center for VA senior-level managers. For the past 12 years, MDRC investigators have conducted numerous studies addressing management issues.
